Engraving Methods

Below is a description of Deep Etch vs Light Etch. Many of our crystal items will give you a choice as to the method of etching.

Deep Etch The deep etch is our most luxurious technique and provides the ultimate in etched crystal. Your logo is cut deeply into the surface of the glass and requires no breaks within the design. In nearly all cases, a logo can be etched without modification.	Light Etch The light etch economically reproduces the fine detail in a delicate but permanent surface etch. As illustrated, the light etch technique does necessitate small breaks in any enclosed letter or area.

Artwork Requirements

ACCEPTABLE:

All digital art must have fonts converted to outlines, attached font files, attached or placed image files and must maintain a minimum of 300dpi resolution. Metafile files are not acceptable. Scanned files must be clean, 300dpi eps formatted, and may not have originated from faxes, low resolution files; acceptance of these files may be subject to approval.

For Names and Personalizations ONLY (NO GRAPHICS):
Microsoft Word or Excel is acceptable

We recommend that you e-mail your artwork. High resolution files may be sent as a Zip file or you may use any compression program. Please include a copy of the information on your Layout in the text of the body of your e-mail message. Please include your name, address, and order number. Artwork can be emailed to art@e-corporateawards.com.

NOT ACCEPTABLE:
    We do not accept use rasterized images such as JPEG, TIFF TGA, GIF, PSD, ETC.
     PDF files are not acceptable for recreation. These types of files are only useful to display layout requirements.
     No Grayscale Art
